Anyone see issue with it being nabbed by Apple? I don't think its so big of a service that if Apple kills PC and Android support for Evernote and swallows it into iCloud that it would be THAT disruptive. I always consider the disruption to current customer base when there is talk of Apple purchasing something. Like whenever there has been talk of Apple purchasing a cell carrier, I can't get past that, I do not imagine Apple caring to deal with all the customers and other manufacturers' phones in such a purchase. I think if they ever own a carrier, they would want to turn it in to a private network for only iOS devices, and if they had their way, they would kick everyone off of the network and start using it for their needs. However, I don't think they could get away with doing such a thing, legally or in a PR sense. Sooo, long winded example complete, I don't see an Evernote purchase being monstrously disruptive to the current customer base in the way a carrier purchase would have been. 

What do the rest of you think? Good idea, bad idea? Viable?

(We do not hire a PR company, we are an independent software company composed of small team of passionate developers.)

DiskAid is an iOS file transfer shareware first published in May 2008. It was simply meant to access the iPhone file system and store data on the device to be used offline on the go. Over the years we have added many many features such as the capacity to copy music in reverse (from an iPhone to iTunes), extract data such as SMS from the device and so on.

Now we are at version 6.3 (for Mac). The version 6 (Mac) among other features added simultaneous connections between one computer and multiple devices via Wi-Fi. 
This is a breakthrough.
It's not only the technological advance that I would like to mention as a subject for review but the use people can make of it with their iPhones and iPads.
The following short examples are just a few illustrations of how DiskAid can widen the possible interactions between iOS devices and computers in regards to file and data transfer.

- If you were running an office where the team members need to carry a specific document onto their iPad DiskAid would allow one operator to transfer the documents to the devices with a push through the Wi-Fi network.

- Further you could register devices for Wi-Fi connection and then access and save their call logs for time-sheeting or reporting purpose or even export the contacts they individually store to merge them onto a central computer, all of that without physical intervention.

- If you were to copy a file to your iPhone and your iPad from your Mac you wouldn't need even to reach for them to do so. For example you can copy a PDF plane ticket that you'd receive by email to all your devices and stored within any offline document app for later use offline (e.g. at the destination airport in my example).

- Another feature DiskAid 6 adds is the access to iCloud documents and Photo Stream on the Mac.

This file transfer feature allowing access to the whole iPhone, iPad or iPod touch file system (including iCloud and Photo Stream) is totally free and does not need a registration (a license purchase and registration is required to unlock the copy of the music and data (SMS, call history, contacts, notes, voice memos & voicemail) from the device to computer.

Read it all. It's worthy. It will take a couple of min., that's all. And of course, feel free to discuss.

We all do agree new features must be added, in order to enhance customer experience, and make it as easy as possible (and the fastest way to access things). We all know those utilities such as the shortcuts at the lock screen should be added in the next iOS update, and a few other great ideas I've seen in other concept videos (not so focused on the new apparently exciting flat design everybody wishes to have). Well, regarding software design, I'd say it must be a matter of aesthetic, and not lead by what the fashion turns out to be every year. I mean, flat design is really elegant, and simple, and if used in a smart way it could be great and maybe even another revolutionary fashion created by Apple, if they use it in an original way... But those boring and deplorable designs I see in concept vids, (you'd agree some of them are even ugly), hopefully, don't live up to what Apple has prepared for us, the users, buyers, costumers and the ones that, in fact, hold their company, and are much far than what we deserve. Hey, Apple needs to focus not only on design (of course one of its main success roots), but on reinventing itself, and SHOW US NEW PRODUCTS, NOT JUST THE ONES WE KNOW REDESIGNED! THAT'S WHAT THEY'VE BEEN DOING SINCE MR JOBS LEFT US, AND THAT'S LAUGHING AT US AND BENEFIT FROM HYPER-CONSUMERISM, which consumes our society. 

But hey, don't forget hardware! We all hoped the mini had come with Retina display. Couldn't be because of a matter of its main policy: "get the most benefit from showing a great product, that for sure can, and has to, be improved in a short future, so we can deliver more and more products per year and they all gonna buy us. Cause lately, we've been lack of creativity it seems. Cause, hey, of course, it doesn't last forever man! And that's gonna be our excuse."

We'll know Apple has lost its essence and superiority, when it creates products people talk about. iWatch. -useful if it's made with intelligence - Maybe it wasn't in their plans, "but hey, everybody's talking bout it, should create one and acclaim we make products people want". People do not know what they want!! In fact, in the past you were the ones that showed that to us, that surprised us at an event. Cause all the audience didn't know at all if the presenter was going to take something extremely new out of his pocket, if he was gonna unveil something worldwide revolutionary (again) that had been awaiting the whole conference below that black curtain almost ignored, while knowing it was gonna change the world and its technology once more, or if it was gonna be presented just as an spectacle. That's the spirit lost, the one that should be followed by every company.

And finally, I don't want to lengthen even more this whole explanation of why we should warn them, or they lose their clients/fans. Regarding products. Just two things I want to highlight: Google is going to be the next pioneer in technology, if it succeeds with Glass, keeps on presenting futuristic ways of automated transport, if it keeps on reinventing technology, or if it has more revolutionary inventions inside his big and deep pocket. It doesn't matter whether they succeed or not, they just propose to mankind, "hey, we got this. This, is what we've been thinking shall work for you. And if it doesn't appeal to you or we are wrong in time -other inventions have come up too early-, we'll try again. And what is more, our policy plays with openness"
And that's a big point, which should be noticed and discussed, maybe better in other topic. Though I've been always against windows-like prostitution, and transforming the essence of a product imagined to be one specific way, and I'm not saying Apple should refurbish its whole policy for which it's been fighting for ages,it should be considered and bravely discussed. But I'm referring to reinventing constantly, and looking for new ways of improving world technology. And here comes the second and last point I'm talking (almost relating haha) about tonight:

APPLE, let's create products more focused on humanity improvement, rather than just earning mountains of money. Of course they won't change if this is asked by one or a few people but they should if it is asked by crowds of buyers. Of course they won't refuse money for betterment of civilization… But the moment Google or whatever business, even startup, starts to focus on changing the world rather than solely focusing in benefits ( these are the fuel for the engines to work, but not the total and basic reference of living for, or at least shouldn't be), it will jump in history, win almost the whole world, and start revolving systems worldwide, start the very beginning of the ending of this obsolete capitalism (it keeps on being ruled by laws of the 1800s) and start concentrating on something new between enhanced way of living, directed towards human advance, science and technology, and leaving money as an intermediary, the reason it was truly created for.

As part of this she's looking into using flash cards so that she can use them daily and use them to study and remember these things.
My question is since she has an iPhone is there any type of iPhone app for flash cards?  She'd need something where she can obviously put the questions and answers into the system and then use them to go through randomly or in order with a chance to answer them before checking the answer.
I'm not sure if there's anything out there like this but even if it's something that's not quite flashcards but does something like this I'd be interested.
Also, she has a Mac so is there a Mac program like that?
