I am about to buy the 4th Gen iPad, so I am asking if it's wise to buy the latest iPad now or wait till March/April to see if the rumors are true or not ?

what iPad you have. If you have iPad 3 right now or no iPad then wait. If you have iPad 2 or older then buy iPad 4.

buy it now.. apple will discontinue updates to the iPad 2 this spring... anyway you look at it, Apple devices have a 2 year lifespan for support and upgrades.

You can wait, or consider to get iPad mini.
it is pretty good for kids and has some nice cases.
