Need help to change password. Set up with none,

in MacBook Pro
Set up using 'return' for pass. It seemed to work but after opening up a second time it now nags constantly for a 'messages' keychain password and crashes every time I use iTunes. Help! P

    You might want to restart your computer. The keychain password is the same password as your user account.

    Yes, but as I never entered a keychain pass I'm stuck. I can use the computer but I havr to keep moving the password nag around ans it's obviously unstable as itunes crashes a lot and iphoto has too. I've just bought it new and am trying to get all my stuff back on and organized so it's a pain. Any suggestions?

    Your keychain password is the login password. If you don't have one then don't fill it in.
    iTunes is pretty stable, at least the recent version. Worst comes to worst, you can always re-install OS X by holding the command and R keys at boot, and reinstalling. Otherwise, I don't know if I can help you without more specifics.
